The Singapore Immigration & Checkpoints Authority (ICA) currently allows the online submission of visa applications for visiting Singapore, via the SAVE#1 system, through authorised travel agents in Bangladesh, China, Egypt, India, Saudi Arabia and Singapore. It also allows individuals in China and Singapore to do so online.

Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Home Affairs Mr Wong Kan Seng, in a speech at Raffles Medical Group's 30th Anniversary Dinner on 29th July 2006, mentioned that the SAVE system has also been extended to trusted industry partners such as medical care providers. It is understood that Raffles Medical Group has signed up for the system and would be able to facilitate visa#2 applications online thus shortening the approval process time.

Notes:
#1. SAVE is an acronym for "Submission of Application for Visa Electronically".
#2. Most foreign visitors visiting Singapore for medical treatment come under the Social visit visa category. For more information visit the Singapore immigration website.
