The National Cancer Centre of Singapore (NCCS) provides clinical services to cancer patients, conducts clinical and basic research, and develops public education programmes directed at the prevention and treatment of cancer. The Centre also undertakes training and education of medical, radiation and surgical oncologists and other allied health personnel for the healthcare community.
The National Cancer Centre, which started as a unit of the Singapore General Hospital (SGH) in 1993, has its own building which is situated in the wider SGH campus at Outram Road.
